Golden Verse 金句

He will render to each one according to his works:  to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life;  but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.       Romans 2:6-8

他 必 照 各 人 的 行 為 報 應 各 人 。
凡 恆 心 行 善 、 尋 求 榮 耀 、 尊 貴 , 和 不 能 朽 壞 之 福 的 , 就 以 永 生 報 應 他 們 ;
 惟 有 結 黨 、 不 順 從 真 理 、 反 順 從 不 義 的 , 就 以 忿 怒 、 惱 恨 報 應 他 們 。
                                                                        使徒行傳  2:6-8

     What I got from Jesus is: You want Good News or bad news?

     What I received from Jesus today is to invite us to use our free will wisely. We always say to people, "Do you want to hear good news or bad news first?" Well, you may choose to hear bad news first, or good news, it's not a big deal. But, if you choose to live in bad news, then it is not only a big deal, but it will be eternal wrath and fury, eternal death.

     Those who choose to live in the bad news have a filthy lifestyle. We've got quit a number of horrible lifestyle in chapter one. And we have more in this chapter:
1. Like to judge other people(vv. 1-3)
2. With a hard and impenitent hearts (vv. 3-5)
3. Who do evil (vv.6-10_
4. Who sinned according to the Ten Commandments (vv. 21-23)
5. Who made the name of God being blasphemed (v. 24)
6. Those who are Jews outwardly (vv. 25-29)

    I have seen too many Christians including leaders(or particularly leaders) who think they are good Christians but can not live out a life worthy to the Good News. There is too much pride in us that could push us to the other side - the dark side.

    So, who are you? Choose wisely and live wisely!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to live out the Good News and truly live out a lifestyle of Christlikeness. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
