DAY 204 - What Is Gospel?

Update  for Leslie Sunday July 29, 2013:
Wow! Leslie came to our 11a.m. service yesterday and received communion. He could eat the communion bread! He can start eating now! Praise the Lord! Thanks for your prayers! God is so, so real! Jesus is Lord!
There will be a thanksgiving gathering at Richmond Emmanuel Church on his birthday, August 23, 6p.m. to 7p.m. All are welcome!

     What I got from Jesus is: What is Gospel?

     What I received from Jesus today is a simple but profound question. It seems that we as Christians know the meaning of Gospel. Gospel is good news, it's all about salvation, about Jesus, about the basic Christianity.

     But, do you know really what is Gospel? Have you been living out the Gospel everyday? Or, Gospel to you is a kind of knowledge, a way of tradition, a habit of doing church business and so on?

     What I got from Paul's compassionate words are:
1. Paul and us as God's servants are being appointed and anointed by God to proclaim the Gospel.(v. 1-6)

2. The Gospel brings salvation for those who believe in Jesus as the Savior, Lord and King. 

3. We need to impart to the other people who God prepares some spiritual gift we have to make them strong.

   Do you know what is Gospel? Is that a knowledge or your life?
     
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to live out the Gospel each day because your are our Lord, Savior and King.   In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
