DAY 205 - What Is Bad News?

Update  for Leslie Sunday July 29, 2013:
Wow! Leslie came to our 11a.m. service yesterday and received communion. He could eat the communion bread! He can start eating now! Praise the Lord! Thanks for your prayers! God is so, so real! Jesus is Lord!
There will be a thanksgiving gathering at Richmond Emmanuel Church on his birthday, August 23, 6p.m. to 7p.m. All are welcome!

     What I got from Jesus is: What is bad news?

     What I received from Jesus today is a picture opposite to yesterday's message. Yesterday passage shows us how Paul talks about the meaning of the Gospel - the good news. Then Paul gives us the reverse of the good news. See all those bad and wicked characters and lifestyles. 

     Do you want to hear the bad news? There isn't any bad news worse than the opposite of what the Good News can offer. If we are really born again, cleansed by the blood of Jesus, being with Jesus each day then we should be able to live out the Good News. The fruit is Christlikeness.

    If we intentionally get away from Jesus and His Kingdom, then lots of habits, characters and immoral behaviours will become who we are - a bad news to everyone, this world and God's Kingdom!

     So, do you want people to hear good news or bad news when they think of you, seeing you and being with you? 
     
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to live out the Good News and be a faithful disciple of you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
