DAY 286 - Don't Forget to Pray for Your Country

Today's Reading: 1 Timothy 2

Please read 1 Timothy 2 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from my Devotion on Fire blog:

You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.

我 勸 你 , 第 一 要 為 萬 人 懇 求 、 禱 告 、 代 求 、 祝 謝 ;

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,  for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.  This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,

    What I got today from Jesus is: Don't forget to pray for your country

What I got from Jesus today is a plead for all of us to pray at least one time for our country and top leaders. Richmond Emmanuel Church started to pray for five MP in our 8:30a.m. and 11:00a.m. weekly services since 2006.

Schools in America stopped to have daily prayer since 1962 and statistic shows that America crime rate raise many times since then.

     Don't forget to pray for your countries and top leaders. You never know how important it is for you to pray for your leaders by reading their names out each day. You will know that when you are in heaven, I am pretty sure.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be willing to pray for our country and top leaders each day so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
