Today's Reading: 2 Thessalonians 2
Please read 2 Thessalonians 2 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from my Devotion on Fire blog:

You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.
So, friends, take a firm stand, feet on the ground and head high. Keep a tight grip on what you were taught, whether in personal conversation or by our letter.

What I got today from Jesus is: Feet on the ground and head high
What I got from Jesus today is the right way for us to prepare for the end time to come. We never know when Jesus will come again. So, nobody cares! But, we also do not know we can not prevent tragedy happen to us? When it happens, like when we have something we cannot handle, we have someone we cannot forgive or anything not good, that's the time to test whether we are really standing firm.
Tonight Michelle and I were praying to quite a number of brothers and sisters at a retreat in Toronto Emmanuel Church led by Archbishop Yong Ping Chung. After Archbishop Yong finished his second talk, we had a "soaking prayer" session. There was a sister who told us something happened that she could not cope with and has been having a severe faith crisis. But, one word from Archbishop Yong many years ago helps her to stand firm. She said, "Archbishop Yong prayed for me many years ago telling me to keep my head high to focus on Jesus. This is the only word helping me to stand firm in the midst of a tragedy!" I said, "You need to know this is how Jesus worked through Archbishop Yong to help you to stand firm so that you won't lose your faith."
We all know we need to stand firm, but, when that big wave comes, only those whose feet are on the ground and heading high to focus on Jesus would survive a major attack from Satan.
Do you think you can survive your next major attack from Satan? If you do not know what does it means by "feet on the ground and head high", I don't think you have a chance.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to have our feet on the ground and head high to focus on you so that we can survive our next major attack from Satan. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
