Today's Reading: 2 Thessalonians 3

Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you, and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith.

What I got today from Jesus is: Your prayers help me to deliver from wicked and evil men
What I got from Jesus today is something most Christians don't know. What is that? It is the true power of prayers and why we need to pray for our pastors.
Do you know what was really happening to Paul according to verse 1 and 2? Even Paul, he had wicked and evil men surrounding him and he asked for prayers. Why? Because it is only prayers can help us to get rid of those wicked and evil men. Archbishop Yong and I were sitting in the airport of Toronto sharing with how Anglican Mission was being attacked by wicked and evil men in the past two years. You would never know who those wicked and evil men are until they surface. That's the sad part. But, if Paul had that experience. How can we get away from this kind of attack. The only way we can do if to teach our people to pray for us so that we won't be eaten by those wicked and evil men. I have seen too many top Christians leaders being discouraged, quitted or even being thrown into darkness because of the attack of those wicked and evil men.
Are you willing to pray for me once everyday focus on this from now on? And, for your pastors too? Thanks!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to pray for our pastors each day so that they can be delivered from wicked and evil men. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
