DAY 248 - You Need Divine Power to Destroy Strongsholds

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

     What I got today from Jesus is: You need Divine power to destroy strongholds 

    What I received from Jesus today is a reminder of three things:
1. Many Christians are being captured in various strongholds blinding our eyes so that we can not follow Jesus as our Lord.

 2. We are not able to destroy those strongholds and we need spiritual weapons to do that. We need Divine power to destroy those strongholds. It means we need to have a close relationship with Jesus so that we know what to do to have that Divine power to destroy those strongholds. Those spiritual weapons can be praying, fasting, prayer walking etc.

 3. We need Divine power to take captive of those souls and thoughts being captured in Satan's strongholds. Divine power can be like those SAS, Navy Seal, Delta Force to go in those strongholds (like castles) to save the hostages and that could be us! Then those hostages can be saved and back home to enjoy the powerful life in the Kingdom that Jesus is Lord.

     Our Men's group(Richmond Emmanuel Church) tonight all agreed that we will go to participated in tomorrow 9a.m. prayer meeting. That's the first time we have a 100% YES to do that. I do not know whether we are going to have 100% men(around 15) tomorrow. Anyway, it is a good start to use spiritual weapon and Divine power. 

     So, do think that you can destroy Satan strongholds yourselves. You need Divine power to do that! 
    
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to understand and know how to use Divine power to destroy Satan's strongholds.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
