     What I got today from Jesus is: Best way to win the fear of death

    What I received from Jesus today is something needed by so many people.
Fear of death is always such a frightening feeling to most people, no matter what age they are.

    Paul is talking about his state of having no fear of death because he is certain that he has "an eternal house in heaven." But, for those who have such kind of assurance, they must be "in Christ". 

    Anyone who are "in Christ" is a new creation who is being reconciled with God and having the ministry of reconciliation. Jesus has His own way of giving assurance to His children to win the fear of death.

    Yesterday I was in St. Paul Hospital witnessing a wonderful sharing of Mrs. Wong. She and her husband had a miraculous experience during a home visit(please see the picture that day below) in February and were both baptized by me a week later. Mrs. Wong's breast cancer comes back after a few years of recovery two months ago and is now dying. She told us yesterday that Jesus came to her a few days ago taking out a chunk of rubbish like a pile of dirty grass with roots. She felt so relief and peaceful. Then Jesus walked away and then turned His head to look at her with a smile. She told us that she is ready to die with no fear!

    This may be the best explanation of what Paul's says in verse 17!
    Yes, to be "in Christ" and being with Jesus is the best way to win the fear of death!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Lead us to be with you so that we can win the fear of death when it comes to us any time in our lives.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
