DAY 195 - Don't Let Discouragement Swallow You

     What I got from Jesus is: Don't let discouragement swallow you

     What I received from Jesus today is a good reminder. Today is a catch up of this blog to my Discipler123 blog. Just an hour ago I completed that blog with the same chapter but different catch. Again, just like yesterday, it's a wonderful feeling that Jesus speaks a different passage when you open the Bible two time, just within an hour.      What I got from Jesus as in the topic of my Discipler123 blog is "The best defence". Yes, Paul had the best defence, a classic defence that any Christian leader can have, a good way for all of us to follow. But, after that best defence, nothing changed and he was in jailed for two years. Two years!

     If you were Paul, do you think you would be very much discouraged? Even you do so well, and are still in the same situation or even worse! We as leaders are so easily discouraged by what happen to us. I have seen too many leaders suffered and then discouraged, depressed, quitted and brought lots of hurt to their families and their churches. 

     Don't let discouragement swallow you! You need to be very clear that if God allows something to happen, there is a reason. You need to have a total trust in Him and that in His own time, everything will be well again. Yes, everything will be well in Him and in Him alone!  
     
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us not to be discouraged trusting that in you everything will be well.   In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
