What I got from Jesus is: Hardship is a must!
What I got from Jesus today is a warning to all of us that it is normal for disciples of Jesus to go through hardships. It is so good for Paul and Barnabas to strengthen and encourage those new Christians in the three cites they went not long time ago. But, the content of the strengthening and encouragement was not those things they wanted to hear. The content of their message is to tell them that what they were facing and what they were about to face and continuous to face are hardships.

What do you think? Do you want to hear about that? Do you think that kind of message is about strengthening and encouraging? Yes, that's the best strengthening and encouraging. Take a look at three things they needed to face with those hardships:
1. They needed their own elders. Elders in today's world are priests or pastors. Do you know you need your priests/pastors to take care of you? Or, do you think you can live on your own because you don't need them?

2. You need to follow the example of Paul and Barnabas to fast and pray so that you can be able to face with those hardships.

3. You need to know that only our Lord Jesus Christ can take you through all those hardships. That's why Paul and Barnabas committed them to the Lord.

Well, that's why you need to be connected to that three points in order to survive your hardships.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to understanding that we need our priests. Help us to be able to fast and pray and that we have to totally committed to you and you alone. Yes, you alone.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
