What I got from Jesus is: How can you be raised to the next level?

What I received from Jesus today is very important if we want to grow up, to be a mature Christian and leader. It's like finishing Primary School to go to High School. Yes, that's it.

Paul three missionary journey is like three stages: Primary School, High School and then College. His fourth missionary journey is a "finishing well" journey, going to Rome and died for Jesus.

In this Primary School stage(1st missionary journey Acts 13:1-14:28), he was a kind of one-man band mood. Or, we can call it two-men band because he was with Barnabas.

His High School stage(2nd  missionary journey Acts 15:36-18:22) is a total paradigm change. He started to train disciples, Silas, Timothy, and here in this passage Aquila and Priscilla. Not only so, he started to change from his "super sonic speed" evangelistic strategy to stage in each city a few days to suddenly stay in Corinth for 1 1/2 year. Why? From super sonic speed, from macro, big and fast MacDonald, Costco style to turtle speed, micro, small is beautiful ministry. Why?

     What have you got today?
The whole church world-wide has caught a flu of a worldly super sonic, macro, big and fast MacDonald, Costco style. I have seen too many crashes all over here in Vancouver, North America and the whole world. Let's learn from Paul experience to spend more time to raise up apprentices, disciples for Jesus. If there are less than 5% of Christians(some of them are pastors) are having daily devotion, there is a missing DNA out there that we must deal with before we can go macro, big and fast!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to follow Paul example to spend more time to train more mature Christians.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
