DAY 120 - Jesus Appoints You As His Apostle





Golden Verse 金句

One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles:
                                                    Luke 6: 12-13


耶 穌 出 去 ， 上 山 禱 告 ， 整 夜 禱 告 神 ；
 到 了 天 亮 ，叫 他 的 門 徒 來 ，就 從 他 們 中 間 挑 選 十 二 個 人 , 稱 他 們 為 使 徒 。

     What I got from Jesus is: Jesus appoints you as his apostle

     
     There is no way that this is a coincidence. No way!
     Yesterday we completed our 40 days of Break.Build on the theme of "Jesus is calling your name now". And, we are in this passage. Actually I was shock when I started to write this blog and found out we are in this passage.

     Yes, this is from Jesus, nothing more, nothing less! Jesus is calling you name and he is saying now to me that He wants to appoint you as His apostle. He wants to send you out to do His Kingdom ministry giving you all the authority and power to do that following what He has been demonstrating to you. Not only demonstrated to you but "has been demonstrating to you". A present perfect continuous tense.

     Jesus is calling you name now! He wants to appoint you as His apostle!
     Are you willing? 

Dear Holy Spirit,
Lead us to be willing to accept your appointment as your apostles that we have the authority and power to live out your Great Commission.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
