What I got from Jesus is: You should have listen to me!

What I received from Jesus today is a warning to all of us that we so often do not listen to the advice of God's servants that we are putting other people including God's servants in a danger situation.

See how many times Paul gave his advice to those people to avoid a shipwreck but they did not listen. That is how Paul wrote to Timothy using the imagery of a shipwreck to describe about those who rejected faith and a good conscience:

This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith, among whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme.                                    Timothy 1: 18-20

Not listening to God's servant will sooner or later leads us into a shipwreck faith endangering many people including God's servants!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to humble ourselves so that we can be able to discern who are your servants and be able to listen to the advice of them. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
