Golden Verse 金句

And when he had said these things, he took bread, and giving thanks to God in the presence of all he broke it and began to eat.  Then they all were encouraged and ate some food themselves.       Acts 27:35-36

What I got from Jesus is: Encouraged in the midst of death

What I received from Jesus today is to learn from Paul of how to encourage people in the midst of severe crisis. When everybody loses hope, we as servant of God are the only source they can have hope and encouragement.

We have some key words about how server it really was to a point of hopelessness: cannot be saved(v.31), need to survive(v.34), reached land in safety(v. 44).

How about when everybody is in panic and you can give them encouragement, direction peacefully?

That's Paul, and that's what a servant of God should do. Can you do that for Jesus?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Give us peace and strength during the most severe crisis and that we can give encouragement to other people who are in darkness and hopelessness.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
