DAY 210 - Is Death Your King?

Update  for Leslie Sunday July 29, 2013:
Wow! Leslie came to our 11a.m. service yesterday and received communion. He could eat the communion bread! He can start eating now! Praise the Lord! Thanks for your prayers! God is so, so real! Jesus is Lord!
There will be a thanksgiving gathering at Richmond Emmanuel Church on his birthday, August 23, 6p.m. to 7p.m. All are welcome!

     What I got from Jesus is: Is death your king?

     What I received from Jesus today is a question about death or alive. Michelle and I just came back from the Intensive Care of Vancouver General Hospital half an hour ago(now is 11:50p.m. Aug. 10, 2013 Saturday). One of our leader, Ben Tong had a minor heart attack and was transferred from Richmond Hospital to VGH in the evening. The doctor said he was lucky that he did not have life threatening issue because he could be in the hospital before it was too late. He is fine now. Just need to be in the hospital for 72 hours and cannot drive a car in a month's time. 

    Six hours ago Michelle and I went to Burnaby for a home gathering. There was a severe traffic jam in the bridge from Richmond to New Westminster. When we drove to the middle of the bridge I saw a few firemen putting a body covered with white cloth to a stretcher. I thought there was a jump bridge suicide. Death!

     The guy in the bridge died today. Ben survived. But, we are all going to die in some days but for those who believe in Jesus and follow Him as King death will no more control us as king but Jesus is the King of our lives.

     That's eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord! 
    
     
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to enjoy each day that you are our King and death will no more have the power to  frighten us. We are and will be alive with you as our King.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
