What I got from Jesus is:
believing, praying, fasting!
Today passage teaches us
about what is true believing. Do you know?
True believing is following Jesus way of life. I
had been a piano teacher for 18 years, since I was 15 year of age. I taught my
student to follow how I played and everything. I took them to concerts and
taught them to imitate what those famous pianist did.
Now, the point is Jesus could
do that and his disciples could not so they asked Jesus. What did Jesus tell them.
"Because you did not pray and fast."
Praying and fasting goes
together. But, many Christians do not understand the importance of have the two
together. I fast at least 80 to 100 days a year since many years ago. I
understand and experience the fruit and power of fasting. Do you?
Richmond Emmanuel is having
the first time a church-wide 40 days fasting and prayers since January 1, 2013.
Many brothers and sisters are fasting now. I started a 40 days fasting Oct. 25
last year so this is my second 40 days fasting and many wonderful things have
happened already in my personal, spiritual life as well as in our church.
If Jesus said that believing,
praying and fasting is so, so important. Why most Christians don't fast?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to understand and experience
the fruit and power of fasting and prayers. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The
easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to
do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for
the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the
ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and
AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do
you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other
time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also
to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed
for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace
and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen
and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I
would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that
this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage
you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
