What I got from Jesus is: First the stalk!
Today's passage especially verse 28 to 29 is the root and foundation of our ACiC/AI four years plan and my doctoral thesis namely "Micro Discipleship". Please go to this link to read what I got and wrote in July 3, 2009 concerning with these two verses and the vision I got since that time:
I sincerely hope you can memorize these two verses because it will surely help you to experience Kingdom growth. First, start with the micro stage, to be a Discipler to help one to two Christians to have a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus through the readying of the Bible.
We started our first stage to raise up Disciplers in 2011, then last year we had our second stage, to raise up Evangelist, this year we focus on being mentors, continue to be Disciplers and Evangelists. Then, next year we'll focus on how to raise up church planters.
But, first let's memorize these two verses so that we know that this vision is from Jesus and Jesus did spend three years in going through all four stages and we are enjoying the fruit Jesus brought living out this Micro to Macro vision.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be willing to follow your good example to start the stalk first trusting that other stages will follow. give our time, money and everything to you sos that we can be fruitful and have at least thirty times. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
