What I got from Jesus is: Admit that you are a sinner!
What I got from Jesus today is a very important thing for us to deal with before we decide to follow Jesus. We have to admit that we are sinners!
Jesus and John the Baptist said the same thing in the beginning of their ministry: Repent, for the Kingdom of God is near. It is not "we were sinners" but "we are sinners".
There are quite a number of Christians thinking that they are so righteous, so they point their fingers to other people. In Luke 15:1-7, when Jesus talks about the lost sheep. Jesus says:
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
The worst thing is for a Christian who thinks that he does not need to repent because he doesn't think that he is a sinner anymore. Stop that! We have too many Pharisees accuse their own brothers and sisters in all kinds of way. Don't do that!
Also, when you sin, Satan always attack you telling you in this ways, "You are hopeless. You are a sinner. See, you repent and you did it again. Don't waste your time. Leave Jesus and follow me. I have a better deal for you."
You need to tell Satan, "Yes, I am a sinner. That's why I need Jesus' blood to forgive my sin and I need Jesus to be my Savior and Lord. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I command you to leave."
Admit that you are a sinner so that Jesus' healing can start in you!

Dear Lord Jesus,
