What I got today from Jesus is: Godliness with contentment is great gain

What I got from Jesus today is a key to success and great gain. If you have a conference, a talk or anything like that of this title with proven success rate, I am sure people will pay thousands of dollars to this event. And there must be long line to buy the tickets.

That may be the main theme for those who promote "Prosperity Theology". You pay much to God, then you gain much. No, it is not like that. Godliness is the fruit of our closeness to God. The closer we are with God, the more we will regain that Imago Dei - the image of God. And if we are more like God, then we will be more content for everything. Even in poverty, or sickness or failure, we can be at peace and content. That's what it means by great gain.

You want great gain? Then have a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus. And if you are really having that relationship, the fruit is Godliness and contentment. Understood?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be with you always so that we can be more content in everything no matter what happen. Our great gain is in you, and in you only. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
