Golden Verse 金句

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
                               John 16: 13

What I got from Jesus is: You will have trouble, it's OK!

What I got from Jesus today is something no one would like to hear. Many people come to Jesus because they think that worship Jesus is just like worship other gods that they can get lots of things from them and will have no trouble. Just like someone join the Mafia or any gangs that they will be protected and can get what they want. Here Jesus said he told them "these things" so that when those bad times come they will have peace if they are in Jesus.

What are those "things"? That is what Jesus said from John 15: 18 to 16: 33. The hatred, persecutions and killing. Troubles, all kinds of troubles! And, loneliness! See what Jesus says in verse 32 they they would be scattered, isolated and Jesus would be left alone. Loneliness is the No. 1 killer for all pastors and Christian leaders. But, when time comes we cannot avoid, it's a challenge, a test, an examination!

The good thing is that if we are still "in Christ" then we will be OK, or more than OK, we will be raised up to the next level that we can do more important jobs for Jesus!

So, be prepared that you are going to have troubles. And, if you allow the Holy Spirit works in you like what Jesus says in John 16: 5 to 15, you will be filled by the Holy Spirit and that you can follow Jesus experience to go through those hurdles. Remember, Jesus have overcome the world!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to prepare ourselves and be ready to face with all kinds of troubles trusting that you have gone through all those and prevailed. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**NEW link for the 12th 100 days 24 hours prayer campaign (from December 04, 2012 to March 14, 2013)

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
