     What I got from Jesus is: Only Jesus can bring light to this dark world!

     

     What I got from Jesus today is something we so need today, especially after that horrible gun shooting in Connecticut that the 20 year old young man killed his mother, then went to the Primary School her mom was teaching killing the principal, 5 teachers and 20 Grade one kids!

     How can we take this kind of sad news! How can those parents, relative and friends who lost their love one to take this tragedy! Oh, how dark this world really is and yet we do not know this kind of cruelty, anger and killing can come when you are walking in a mall, when your children are learning in their Primary School!

     I could not keep my tears when I was watching the news and the pictures through my computer. It is just absurd, crazy!

     Jesus says, "I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins." (verse 24) Well, people are talking about taking action on gun control and every kind of ways to prevent this to happen. The real thing we need to talk about and to take action is for Christians to be able to have Jesus as Lord and bring more people to Jesus that we can be in Christ, in the Light! 

     How are you going to let Jesus to use you as a channel to bring light, peace, joy, love and hope back to this dark world? 

Dear Lord Jesus,

We pray for those we lost their love one in yesterday shooting. Opening our eyes to see the only hope is in you and not in other methods. Lead us to be a channel of your peace to bring people back to you that only in you we can be in the light everyday.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
