What I got from Jesus is: This happened so that the work of God might be displayed in your life!

What I got from Jesus today is a Christmas gift especially to those who are in hardship, suffering or crisis. Jesus would like you to know that "this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in your life!"

Two weeks ago a new comer joined our Sunday worship. She told me she was from Hong Kong and has not received Jesus yet. But, she went to our web site and read Elise To's "My Accident Is A Blessing" http://www.emmanuelvoice.org/TEMP_CHT/images/Stories/my_accident_is_a_blessing.pdf  and was moved by God through Elise message. You'll never know how God can use someone's tragedy to become another person's blessing and a contact point to know Jesus.

This afternoon I went to Vancouver General Hospital to pray for Elise because Kit(her husband) sent me an SMS message this afternoon telling me that Elise had a severe seizure and losing control of her right arm and fingers. Elise would never know how many people Jesus touched through her witness after her nearly fatal accident in Athen, Greece four years ago. What I can witness as I was in Athen with Elise and Kit for eight days and what happened these four years is "this happened so that the work of God is displayed in her life." (The pictures you see was taken four years ago when she flew back from Athen and three years ago when she came back to church to play organ the first time.)

So, if you are in hardship, suffering, discouragement or crisis, don't worry. God is good! Jesus is Lord! Jesus love you!

This happened so that the work of God might be displayed in your life!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to experience that you allow tragedy to happen so that the work of you might be displayed in our lives. Lord Jesus, pour down your blood to Elise to heal her and lead her to experience your presence and your loving embrace. Holy Spirit, come and fill Elise and Kit that they are being strengthen and encouraged.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**NEW link for the 12th 100 days 24 hours prayer campaign (from December 04, 2012 to March 14, 2013)

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
