Today's Reading: Exodus 32-33
Please read Exodus 32-33 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from my Devotion on Fire blog:

You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.
我 要 在 那 裡 與 你 們 相 會 , 和 你 們 說 話 。
我 要 在 那 裡 與 以 色 列 人 相 會 , 會 幕 就 要 因 我 的 榮 耀 成 為 聖 。
where I will meet with you, to speak to you there. There I will meet with the people of Israel, and it shall be sanctified by my glory.

What I got today from Jesus is: God's presence, your taking command
What I heard from Jesus today is a new insight. The Israelites had been following Moses for some time and they expected Moses could be able to give them something when Moses went up to Mount Sinai. But, Moses did not return and they followed their second chair leader Aaron instead. Aaron did not pray for God's direction. May be he was scary or confused. So, he made a bad and wrong decision. We know what happened later when we read these two chapters.
What we may not know is that when Moses came down, he lost his authority as the top leaders and everything and everyone was in chaos. What it says in 33:3 of God will not go with them and 33:14 that God changed His mind and told Moses that He was going with him so that he could have rest is the key message.
God's presence gives Moses to have rest. According to what we got yesterday from John Walton's inspiration. Rest in this sense is that God gives Moses back His Commander-in-chief status and reality. God will have lots of signs just like before to let the Israelites to know that He has chosen Moses as the top leader.
In this confused world, it is so easy to become blinded by human's greed and pride and Satan's deceiving scheme that we do not know who is right, who is wrong, who is the true anointed and appointed leader and who is the leader of the rebel. We can learn from this passage of a way to have a discernment. What is it? Well, it is the title I got from Jesus today:
God's presence, your taking command
Have you got the message?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to discern your will and call that we know who we need to follow and where to go. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
