Today's Reading: Exodus 22-23
Please read Exodus 22-23 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from my Devotion on Fire blog:

You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.
看 哪 , 我 差 遣 使 者 在 你 前 面 , 在 路 上 保 護 你 , 領 你 到 我 所 預 備 的 地 方 去 。
“Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared."

What I got today from Jesus is: Willing to be led by God's angel
What I got from Jesus is something you may not understand. What you need to do is just to learn how to listen and obey. We can read all those complicated and details listen and obey rules in chapter 22 and the first part of chapter 23. That is just an exercise for God's people to learn how to listen and obey.
The point is when they are willing to learn how to listen and obey, then God will send an angel to lead them to the Promised Land. Who is the angel? Can they really see that angel? Well, that is not the point. The point is God has His own way to lead us to the Promised Land. If we have learned what is listen and obey and are willing to listen and obey, we will know who the angel is and we may be abel to see God's angel. I may be really an angel as described in verse 20, or anyone who is being sent from God to lead you to the Promised Land.
You are not able to identify the angel, or you are not willing to be led by the angel even he appears before you really learn how to listen and obey.
Do you think you have that kind of "listen and obey" relationship with Jesus? How can you make sure you are really listening and obeying?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to enter into the listen and obey journey so that we can be led by those who are being sent by you to the Promised Land. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
