DAY 71 - A Bright And New Beginning of AMiA!

This blog is to help you to have a daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus
and to be able to memorize one golden verse everyday.

We will cover New Testament in one year(Dec.1,2012 to Nov. 30,2013),

Old Testament in another year(Dec.1,2013 to Nov. 30,2014).

Golden Verse 金句

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."
                                             Matthew 5: 11-12

What I got from Jesus is: A bright and new beginning of AMiA!
What I receive from Jesus today is a wonderful comfort and assurance of His continuous blessing and anointing to AMiA. In the past 15 months, Anglican Mission in the Americas has been severely insulted, persecuted and falsely said all kinds of evil against us just like what Jesus says in verse 11. Yesterday(Feb. 8) every AMiA deacons and priests received a formal license from four Anglican bishops as our concordat bishops during the third day of our Annual Winter Conference in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Bishop William Mugenyi, Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Boga of the Anglican Church of Congo, shared how he was nearly beaten to death by his grandfather when he became a Christian many years ago. Since he became an Assistant Bishop many years ago and a Diocesan Bishop two years ago he has experienced a lot of suffering. But, in the midst of those sufferings he is always so joyful. I met Bishop William the first time last year and he is always full of joy. It's a true living out of the eight beatitude and what it says in James1: 2, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds..."

See the joy of Rev. Ed Hird when he received Bishop William's license.
Yes, we have been tested and we pass. What we can see and experience is a bright and new beginning of AMiA!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Pour down your joy on us as we go through all kinds of tests and trails. Lead us to be able to consider those sufferings as challenges and always be in great joy.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**NEW link for the 12th 100 days 24 hours prayer campaign (from December 04, 2012 to March 14, 2013)

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
