and to be able to memorize one golden verse everyday.

                                                                      馬可福音 6: 31

What I got from Jesus is: Come with me to get some rest!

This passage consists of two miracles. One is the feeding of the five thousand and the other is Jesus walking on the water. Every Christian wish to experience this kind of miracle, even if just one in their lifetime and that would be enough. But, not many aware of what happened before those two miracles!

So, if you wish to experience more miracles of how Jesus works with you then you need to focus more on those happening before the two miracles.
1. "Jesus said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."  So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. But..."                      Mark 6:31-32
Jesus' called his apostles to go with him alone to a quiet, solitary place and get some rest, and they went. But they had to serve those thousands of people because of Jesus compassion. They postponed their resting and praying.

2. After leaving them, Jesus went up on a mountainside to pray.
                                                                                    Mark 6:46
Jesus needed to be alone to take some rest and pray.

There are more and more pastors and leaders experiencing burnout, depression and even quit their jobs or ministries. Why? Because there are too many "doing" but so few "being"! You can't be a Martha if you do not start to be a Mary first. You can't work and work in the name of Jesus thinking that you are helping him to build your church if you do not have that daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus. Resting and praying with Jesus!

Jesus called me using the same words as he told his apostles in June 2009. I listened and obeyed and to start using two to three hours a day to rest with Jesus and pray, then write my blogs and record my podcasts.
Please click this link toto read how Jesus called me to get some rest with him daily 3 1/2 ago
Without these 3 1/2 years of daily resting, listening and praying, I think I am gone long time ago. Why? Because too many things to "do", too many crisis and too many pastors, leaders and people to serve. With this daily resting with Jesus and in Jesus, all those things have become my challenges raising me to a new level to serve our Lord Jesus Christ. And I am more and more restful, peaceful, joyful, and more ready to listen and obey to our Lord's command. He is my Lord, my Savior and my King!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for calling me to enter into this most joyful and peaceful daily resting time with you. Lead me to be able to help more brothers and sisters to understand and practice this important lifestyle daily so that we won't experience burnout because of too much "doing" but blessed by you because of our being with you daily.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**NEW link for the 12th 100 days 24 hours prayer campaign (from December 04, 2012 to March 14, 2013)

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
