Today's Reading: Hebrews 9

Please read Hebrews 9 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from my Devotion on Fire blog:

You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.

因 為 基 督 並 不 是 進 了 人 手 所 造 的 聖 所 ( 這 不 過 是 真 聖 所 的 影 像 ) , 乃 是 進 了 天 堂 , 如 今 為 我 們 顯 在 神 面 前 ;

                                                               希 伯 來 書 9:24

For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.

    What I got today from Jesus is: Meet God each day in your Most Holy Place

    This passage tells us how blessed we are as disciples of Jesus. Why? Because in the Old Testament time people could not enter into the Holy Place but just the priests. And, only the High Priest could enter into the Most Holy Place once a year during the Yom Kippur(Day of Atonement).

    How precious it is and how blessed we are as disciple of Jesus that we can go through to meet God each day because of Jesus. Only Jesus can lead us to experience the presence of the Triune God. We are being embraced by the love of God, dip into the light of Christ and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Is that so wonderful?

    But, how often do you go to your Most Holy Place to meet God? Where is your Most Holy Place? Is there one?

    Well, my most Holy Place usually is in my study where I have my daily intimate personal relationship with Jesus. It can also be at Richmond Emmanuel Church when I go inside the sanctuary or a special place for prayers behind the curtain of the sanctuary. It can be here in Vancouver Airport when I am waiting for the flight back to Hong Kong. The place is not important, but the time and your heart is important. You need a time at least once everyday to enter into your Most Holy Place to meet God!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to meet God each day in our Most Holy Place. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
