Today's Reading: 2 Timothy 1

Please read 2 Timothy 1 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from my Devotion on Fire blog:

You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.

為 此 我 提 醒 你 , 使 你 將 神 藉 我 按 手 所 給 你 的 恩 賜 再 如 火 挑 旺 起 來 。

提 摩 太 後 書 1:6

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,

2 Timothy 1:6

What I got today from Jesus is: Lay Hands, fire up!

What I got from Jesus today is a key to receive power and encouragements. Lots of time we are powerless and feeling discouraged. Why? Because it's not easy to do God's ministry.  That's how Paul reminded his true son, disciple, Timothy to fan the flames inside him from how he laid hands on him sometimes ago.

I am perhaps one of a few Christian leaders who cherish the blessings of laying of hands by God's gifted servants. Since so many years ago, when ever I have a chance, I will ask those I think are richly blessed and anointed by the Holy Spirit to lay hands on me. In the past week I have been richly blessed by six world-class Christian leaders laying hands on me. They are Archbishop Kolini (retired Primate of the Anglican Church of Rwanda and founder of AMiA),  Archbishop Mose Tay (Retired Primate of the Anglican Church of South East Asai and another founder of AMiA), Archbishop Yong Ping Chung(successor of Archbishop Moses Tay, retired Primate of the Anglican Church of South East Asia) and his wife Julia and Bishop Sospeter (one of the bishops of the Anglican Church of Tanzania). It's God's timing that Richmond Emmanuel Church had our Annual Alpha Holy Spirit weekend from yesterday to this afternoon. I had laid hands on over 70 people and they were all blessed and fired up in a very, very special way. Lots of miraculous things happened the past two days in the retreat. I have been feeling so anointed and so filled with the Holy Spirit from the laying on of hands by God's six servants and then I could lay hands on more than 70 people. It is just wonderful!

So, don't miss any chance that you can have God's servants to lay hands on you. It is like a kind of "charging of battery"! And, I am being charged in a wonderful way and so did those 70 people.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to know the importance of laying on of hands and try our best to search for God's servants to lay hands on us as much as we can find so that we can be filled by the Holy Spirit in a very special way.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
