DAY 142 - Any One of You Who Does Not Renounce All That He Has

I visited Leslie yesterday around 4p.m. He was being transferred to a new room, seems for less critical patient. Yesterday should be the first day that his parents were not in the hospital when I visited because his situation is more steady. And, Kenny started to go back to work yesterday. Praise the Lord!

But, I got a "red alert" message from Nevia at 11:47p.m. yesterday(Friday May 31):
I'm so scared! The nurse just told Kenny, the medication not really work for Leslie's lung bacteria!

Let's pray that they can change a new medication that works and that Leslie does not need a surgery. Thanks for your prayers!

What I got from Jesus is: Any one of you who does not renounce all that he has
What I received from Jesus today is a warning that we cannot be His disciples unless we renounce all that we have. What does it mean really?

Very simple, think of your passport. There are quite a number of countries that their citizens cannot hold two passports. Just one!

We as human beings have been holding too many passports! Jesus can not be the only Lord lording us but we have too many things lording us, or we are the lord actually.

You need just one Lord, Jesus, no one else or nothing else.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be willing to renounce all that we have and receive you as our Lord, Savior and King.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
