What I got from Jesus is: You refuse to come to me to have life!
What I got from Jesus today is a reminder for all of us why we need to read the Bible. Reading the Bible is not for us to get what we want, like to make sure we read one chapter a day means we will get a kind of insurance plan to go to heaven. It is not even for diligent study thinking that the more we know the Bible the more we will know God.
According to what Jesus says, the Bible is to testify about Jesus and for us not to refuse coming to Jesus but to accept and believe that Jesus is Lord and that we can have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)
This passage is to remind Jesus disciples of what happened in the beginning in this chapter. The one who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years was being healed right away when he listened to Jesus command. To rise up and to pick up his mat and walked away.
You may be a Bible study group leader, a scholar or a pastor that you know the Bible so well. But, if you do not be willing to come to Jesus each day to have an intimate personal relationship with him, it's useless because Jesus is just someone you study but not someone you can walk with, trust to and love with all you have got.

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
