What I got from Jesus is: Satan comes to destroy, Jesus comes to save!

What I got from Jesus today is the difference between Jesus and Satan. The whole chapter of John 10 is about the good shepherd.  This chapter portrays Jesus as the true shepherd and ruler of his people.  His authentic love and leadership is a contrast to all false shepherds or insincere leaders.

This passage emphasizes that there is only one way to true spiritual salvation and that is through faith in Jesus Christ.  Those who enter God's kingdom through Jesus will be saved from the ultimate consequences of sin and will experience a personal and eternal relationship with God.

On the other hand, Satan's job is in three steps:
1. He steals us away from Jesus. He has his own way to take us away from the protection and love of Jesus.  Just like someone who kidnap a child from his/her parent. Usually something happen, crisis, tragedy, failure, disappointment or hardship making us angry with God, losing faith, disappointed with some pastor or leaders, then we stop daily devotion, then small group/fellowship, then Sunday worship, then sleeping at home or shopping on Sundays. This is how Satan steals us from Jesus.

2. He kills us that we cut all the ties with God and other Christians.  He would try all his best to make us a "killer" that we take part in the "killing" of God's servants and the pulling down of churches.

3.  He destroys us from eternal life. When we follow step 1 and 2 then the consequence is that we will follow Satan to eternal death, eternal destruction.

So, would you like to be in a daily intimate personal relationship with our Good Shepherd or to step in Satan's trap letting him to steal, kill and destroy you and use you to steal, kill and destroy other people?

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to follow you as our Good Shepherd that we will experience your abundance love each day. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**NEW link for the 12th 100 days 24 hours prayer campaign (from December 04, 2012 to March 14, 2013)

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
