Today's Reading: 3 John
Please read 3 John and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from my Devotion on Fire blog:

You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.
親 愛 的 兄 弟 阿 , 不 要 效 法 惡 , 只 要 效 法 善 。 行 善 的 屬 乎 神 ; 行 惡 的 未 曾 見 過 神 。
約 翰 三 書 1 : 11
Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.

What I got today from Jesus is: Pray for the gift of hospitality
What I got from Jesus is a calling for us to pray for the gift of hospitality. Paul talks about how wonderful it is for Gaius' gift of hospitality as a faithful and gracious leader and how bad it is for Diotrephes not to have the gift of hospitality, instead he is a rebellious and prideful leader.
The gift of hospitality is a very special gift for those how are welcoming, friendly, kindness and generous. Actually it should be a gift all good Christians have because Paul describe the difference in verse 11 as imitating good or imitating evil, from God or not from God, have seen God or have not seen God.
So, you really need to pray for the gift of hospitality!

Dear Holy Spirit,
Pour down your gift of faith and love to us so that we can have the gift of hospitality to love and welcome those strangers. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
