Today's Reading: 2 Peter 3
Please read 2 Peter 3 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from my Devotion on Fire blog:

You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
2 Peter 3: 9

What I got today from Jesus is: Don't misuse God's patience
What I got from Jesus is a warning. It is so easy for us to sin repeatedly, thinking that God will always forgive our sins and we never really want to change. We know how to talk about lifestyle of Christlikeness but just talking, rarely going towards that direction.
But, you need to know that when God's time comes, we do not have time to react or hide.
Don't misuse God's patience!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us not to misuse your patience to us and lead us to try our best to change. We know that we do not have the strength nor the will to change. Holy Spirit, come and help us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
