What I got from Jesus is: You have to make a big decision to be His workers!

We have been talking about the importance of being workers of Jesus and the job description and lifestyle of being Jesus workers. Here in the conclusion of Jesus instructions to His twelve apostles, He clearly stated that to be workers of Jesus we all need to make a big decision.

A decision that we love Jesus more than everyone and everything. A decision that if conflict comes we need to take Jesus and forsake other people or other things. That doesn't mean that Jesus teaches us not to love our parents, spouses or children. No! We need to love them but the top No. 1 priority is Jesus and not other people or other things.

Two weeks ago when I was in Greensboro for the Anglican Mission's Winter Conference, Bishop William of Congo shared about how he was beaten nearly to death by his grandfather because he made a choice to become a Christian. That is what Jesus is talking about.

Various situations will come like examination papers before us to make this decision. They will come in no time and so sudden that if you have not decided to make this big decision you would soon make a wrong decision.

According to statistic, there are less and less young adults in the age between 25 to 40 going to church all over the world. Why? Because most of them have made a decision that their children, family , job, lifestyle, holidays, rest are more important than going to church. Not even thinking about serving in their churches as council members, small group leaders and other leadership role! That's a shame! The reality is that we have so many people including ourselves and so many things lording our lives. When we say Jesus is Lord is the most important thing in life is a lie! Don't lie to yourself if Jesus is not your Lord and you insist on thinking that Jesus is your Lord! That's what Jesus want to tell us today!

So, be ready to make the right decision when the exam. paper comes!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be willing to follow you totally willing to forsake anyone and anything so that you can be our Lord lording our lives.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

**NEW link for the 12th 100 days 24 hours prayer campaign (from December 04, 2012 to March 14, 2013)

The easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week. What you need to do is very simple. Choose one dayThe easiest way is to take one hour slot for the whole week to pray for me, my family and my ministry, remembering the ministry of ACiC(ACiC has two Networks: ACiC, Anglican Coalition in Canada and AI, Asian Initiative). You may use the whole hour in prayer or you can still do you work in your office but use as much time as you can to pray and the other time work prayerfully that hour to pray for our ministry. This campaign is also to teach you that you need somebody to pray for you daily. I have been prayed for hourly the past 1,200 days and I have never experienced this kind of peace and protection before. It's just beyond words can express. If I did not listen and obey to Jesus call 1,200 days ago to start this prayer movement, I think I would be pulled into darkness and discouragement already! I deeply believe that this is a way to draw as many participation as we can in prayers. I encourage you to participate. We need you to join us! Trust in the power of prayers!
