Today's Reading: Ecclesiastes 9-12

Please read Ecclesiastes 9-12 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from my Devotion on Fire blog:

You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.

                                                                傳道書 12:1

 Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”;
                                                              Ecclesiastes 12:1

    What I got today from Jesus is: Come to Jesus before it is too late

    The book of Ecclesiastes is King Solomon's story of his own life.  He wasted much time in those lifestyle under the sun, following human desires and falling into the traps of the Deceiver: Money, Sex and Power.

    What Solomon wants his readers to know is to have the insight not under the sun but above the sun and that is to look at things in God's perspective. That requires a total change of our lives and a total new relationship with God.

    Verse 1 of chapter 12 is perhaps one of my most favourite Golden verse for many years. This verse shows how much King Solomon wasted his time, money and energy to pursue those things which are going to perish sooner or later. This verse shows how much Solomon wants us to remember God each day and to be close to God each day before it is too late.

    In an hour's time Michelle and I will visit Mr. Wong who we led to Jesus and being baptized by me just two weeks ago. Please click this link to know what happened: http://discipler123.blogspot.ca/2014/09/day-834-bring-more-people-to-new-eden.html

     It is purely a miracle that we could enter into Mr. Wong's home, baptized him and threw all the idols away. And now he is unconscious and unable to respond waiting to go to be the Lord.

     I do hope and pray that we can come close to Jesus more and more each day before it is too late. For King Solomon and many people for centuries and centuries, it is really too late!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be close to you more and more each day before it is too late. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
