DAY 164 - There Is No Salvation except Jesus

     What I got from Jesus is: There is no salvation except Jesus
     What I got from Jesus yesterday was: I have nothing but Jesus. Today, what I got from Jesus is: there is no salvation except Jesus.

     If you can live your whole life through grasping these two golden verses, you can surely go through all sunny days and rainy days.

    Well, the truth is that we can never grasp these two golden verses because we want to have so many things we cannot have and we are always not satisfied, even the Lord bless us with all those things in our lives. We want to get help from so many people, but we rarely seek help from our Lord with lots and lots of prayers and fasting.

    See how Peter and John were supported with prayers in their house church. You can find various places in Acts that Christians were always gathering in one place praying in unity until the crisis was gone.

    I am so thankful that today we had around 30 people coming together to pray in our weekly Saturday 9a.m. prayer meeting. You know how difficult it is to make people believe that coming together to pray is God's will and is the source of power? And yet, through many years of effort we only can have a slow growth from around 10 to 30 in the past many years!

    We need more prayers in unity that more people can realize that there is no salvation except Jesus and that we have nothing but Jesus! 

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to follow the example of those Christians to come together to pray and that we can have the courage and power to tell people there is no salvation except Jesus.  In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
