DAY 170 - The Best Discipler

Update  for Leslie:
Praise the Lord that Kenny and Nevia gave their testimony today in REC's 11a.m. service of how wonderful Jesus is to heal Leslie. It was such a powerful witness!  Let's pray that Kenny is going to receive Jesus as His Savior and Lord soon!

     What I got from Jesus is: Jesus needs you to be a discipler
     The topic I got from Jesus is "Jesus needs you to be a discipler. Today's topic seems a natural respond to yesterday's message. Ananias became Saul's discipler and led him through the first baby steps in Saul's Christian life.

     Why Ananias is the best discipler. Very simple. He had got every basic quality a discipler of Jesus needs and he discipled Saul in the first stage of spiritual development. You may say that why not Barnabas. Well, Barnabas took the second stage and that is a mentor's stage, a deeper and more focus stage.

     Here below are the steps we can learn from Ananias example to be a good discipler:
1. A close and intimate relationship with Jesus(v.10)
2. Ready to go to anywhere Jesus asks somewhat like what Philip did in chapter 8 verses 26 to 30. (v. 11-17)
3. Be able to pray and lay hands on people so that their eyes can be opened to see the glorious work of Jesus being done to them.

     Can you say to Jesus just like Ananias did by saying, "Yes, Lord."
     If you can say that, then He is going to bless you to be a good discipler to bring many disciples to Him. Are you willing? Are you ready? 

Dear Lord Jesus,
Lead us to be able to say YES to you that we can be anointed by you to be a good discipler bring many disciples to you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
