What I got from Jesus is: Make straight the way for the Lord!
What I got from Jesus today is a job description as a disciple of Christ. We talk about how glory it can be when the glory of Christ is in us. Incarnation, Emmanuel and how the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us all pointing to who we are. Do you know who you are now?
You are a John the Baptist and your job description for life is to make straight the way for the Lord. Just like the unusual and unreal famous painting showing John the Baptist on the right hand side of Jesus. John died long time ago, how could he be there? This unreal picture is just to remind us of our purpose being a disciple of Jesus standing by Him, pointing to Him and to Him at the Cross. How much are you willing to sacrifice for Jesus as John the Baptist did?
Yes, it is me! It is me! I am willing Lord Jesus!
